I'm not sure I agree with that - at least, not with the verbal execution. Who says survival is the measure of necessity?

The point is, you can live without ever having friends, but friends make life worth the living.

And that point is unarguably true! (well, ok, people can argue with anything, but I'm siding with Jack and Her Plumageness on this one.)
