How does this statement strike you:
The way we react to people is a direct reflection upon who we are.
It’s a statement I don’t much like. I’ve put it off because I know that’s true. How I react to other people tells me that I’m impatient and not always very kind.
This goes under “things to work on” in my life. To be a little more giving, a little more compassionate, to try harder to see the need in front of me and to meet that need if it is within my ability to do so.

I think most everybody needs to work on that...I know I do...
Me, too... it's one of those uncomfortable truths that I try to find a way to deny, but no luck. How I react to a person says far less about the person and far too much about me. Maybe someday I'll be more like Jesus; until then... well, I can keep trying :-) You always raise Big, Important Thoughts. Thanks!
Gee, Winter, I'd hate to have to analyze THAT response ;-) I'm betting you respond to people a-plenty, you just keep your responses to yourself (and I present to you, an honest-to-goodness polite person, the Lady Winter... ta-da!)
I'd have to say that maybe you aren't thinking in the right terms Winter... I mean like... when someone does something really stupid or mean or unkind you think something and you may react differently towards them the next time they are interacting with you. The same would be true if someone did you a favor, or was always happy when you spoke to them...
Heh heh :-P just checkin' chicken. I just had a hard time believing you had/have no reaction to people.
