Flower in the rain
song by Jaci Velasquez/written by Chris Eaton So, here I am again Willing to be opened up and broken like a flower in the rain. Tell me what have I to do to die and then be raised, To reach beyond the pain like a flower in the rain?
I don't know a lot about flowers, but isn't rain good for them? Still, between the words and the picture, I kinda felt something stirring within my stone heart (could be lava trickles...) Anyway, thanks (as ever) for the inspiring thought!

It took me a while to understand what it was saying.. I've been reading it over since you posted! Now I think I understand. Awesome, and pertyful
Rain is good for it, but at the same time there is a harshness about rain especially if it's a hard one with a lot of wind.
I'm glad you can relate Angel.
I dunno feather, I like wind and rain, even when its cold and painful. Reminds me I'm alive and makes fireplaces and hot tea all the more welcome!
Angel: "pertyful"?!? I love it! :-)
I do too, but there is that possibility that a flower will be broken in the rain--
true. I've seen rose bushes decimated after a storm, petals everywhere. it's kind of a sad image, now that you bring it to mind...
