Women's Retreat 2006

Things I learned last weekend:

1-Driving a van-load of women is a great deal quieter than a van-load of children
2-Your friends make up songs about you when you disappear without telling them
3-Allowing yourself to be ministered to isn't so bad (it also means you are not stealing someone else's opportunity to serve)
4-Oh the things you learn when you sit and observe
5-A misty morning is just as wonderful as one where you see the sunrise
6-Forgetting all your projects, plans and work assignments for a few days is very relaxing
7-God is still more awesome than I know

Nice pictures, good lessons. I'm betting #3 is one that you have to keep re-learning (just guessing here...) Oh, these songs sound interesting ;-)

I love the photos! I want to go there! ;o) (On another note, I'm really getting tired of not being able to see your posts until a few days later. This says you posted on Thursday, and today is Sunday. First time I saw this. Grrr...)

Wish I had been there. Nice to see ya'll for a little while though. How did I end up at the table with the mature people? And there were songs about you I missed? Maybe I'll have to make up one of my own? Let me think on that for a few... As always, the pics are great. You are gifted, my friend.
