Sometimes it's hard to pause long enough to see God speaks all the time--he's provided for every little thing I need and I have an abundance. Contentment, that's what I want.
On the flip side, there will always be a sense of discontent as long as you live in a fallen world. This world is not our home, not the world we were created for (neither are we, as we are, the people we were created to be). The wistfulness for heaven should be a constant ache in our hearts.
But, about physical things, the things of this world, yeah, the apostle seems to have found something that comes and goes. There are moments where enough is truly enough, moments when the hope of heaven is enough. Other times... I want more. The paradox is the more leaves me emptier and the less, when seen through heavenly eyes, is (as you say) abundance.

Lovely photo, but even lovelier sentiment... thanks for the reminder.
